Click on the second item on the list labeled ‘Schedule Service Appt.’ You will now be looking at our online scheduling tool. If you have scheduled an appointment with us online in the past you can sign in using your login. If you have visited our service department before you can click on the ‘Find Me’ box and enter your phone number. For new customers, you will click on the box indicating ‘I’m New Here’. Next, you will enter in some of your basic vehicle information. You will then select what kind of services and repairs you are looking to have done on your vehicle. The next step will bring you to a calendar. Simply select the time that works best for you. You can also book a shuttle if you need to leave while your vehicle is being serviced. Finally, you will enter in your contact information and book your appointment. It is really as simple as that. Scott Meska grew up in Winona, MN, but found himself in Eau Claire after graduating from UW-Stevens Point. Before finding his position at Markquart Toyota as a service advisor, Scott spent nine years at Scheels in the hunting department. He never pictured himself in the automotive industry, but finds that it has been a great fit. Scott says that his favorite part of his job is the people. He is enthusiastic about the wide variety of friendly customers and co-workers that he encounters on a daily basis, as well as the fun atmosphere in the service department. When he is not assisting customers with their service needs, Scott finds himself spending time with his wife and Brady, his 6-year-old son. He also enjoys the outdoors by traveling out west for hunting trips and musky fishing. This ruggedness does not end there though. Kevin Roth is no stranger to the automotive industry, and there’s a reason his family has nicknamed him “Superhero.” Kevin successfully ran an oil change and detail center in his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan for six years, before joining Markquart Toyota’s team as a Service Advisor. A couple months ago we posted a blog post about our new recon center being built, and we are happy to announce that it’s now complete! This new facility is firing on all cylinders, with room to work on up to 10 vehicles. Before, a trade in vehicle would have to go to one building to get inspected then to another to be reconditioned before it could be put on our used car lot. Now, it’s all done in one place making the process more efficient, and allowing us to get more vehicles out on the lot for you! This centralized recon center has hoists for techs to inspect vehicles, a bay for handwashing, and even more bays for reconditioning. Before this was all split between three buildings. In summary, we went from 7 bays scattered throughout three locations to 10 bays in one, state-of-the-art location. Nick is originally from Eau Claire and actually started working at Markquart Lube-N-Wash when he was in high school 14 years ago! He now has a new position as a Service Advisor at Markquart Toyota where he enjoys meeting new customers. Toyota tested the effect worn tires have on stopping distance* when traveling 60 miles per hour on a wet road. Three sets of tires were used with three different tread depths: 10/32” 4/32” 2/32” For each test, the same professional driver was used. He accelerated to 60 mph and then tried to stop. It took him approximately 8 additional car lengths to stop with 4/32” tread depth, and nearly 10 additional car lengths to stop with 2/32” of tread depth!
