For 14 years Toyota has been tweaking and improving the Prius and it shows in this latest model. The iconic shape still reduces wind resistance for better gas mileage and a quieter ride, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing space. Prius also offers the top-notch safety. It’s equipped with 7 airbags and lane keep assist. The vehicle proximity notification system (VPNS) lets pedestrians and bicyclists know that you’re near. When the Prius is traveling under 15mph and running only on electric power, it’s usually too quiet to hear, so VPNS emits a sound to help caution those around you.

Because of the 2015 Toyota Prius’s ability to use electric power, you won’t find yourself at the gas station too often. Due to the Hybrid Synergy Drive system, Prius can use the gas engine, electric motor, or both for the most efficient fuel economy. This helps this iconic, hybrid car get an EPA Estimated 50 MPG on the Highway. Just because you’re saving energy doesn’t mean you have to give up performance, though. When you’re fully accelerating, the gas engine automatically takes over for a little while.
