Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Jack Maher is no stranger to the Chippewa Valley. In 2009 Jack moved with his family from Omaha to Chetek and has been in this area ever since. Previously Jack worked as a Service Writer for another local dealership, and he is excited to bring his expertise to the service team at Markquart Toyota. For Jack, the best part of his job is the one-on-one interaction with customers. When he is not at work, he likes to spend time outdoors. Some of his favorite activities are boating, snowmobiling, and ice fishing with his family in Chetek. Jack hopes to one day be cruising around in his a dream car, a Shelby Mustang. Josh Bonnell is originally from Antigo, Wisconsin, but is no stranger to the Eau Claire area. He received his undergraduate degree from UW-Eau Claire, and after relocating a few times, he is excited to settle back into the Chippewa Valley. Josh was drawn to Markquart because of his passion for cars and people. In his previous position, Josh worked with college students to find financial aid and scholarship opportunities to fit their lifestyle. He is excited to transition that skill into his new role as a product specialist with Markquart Toyota. Outside of work, Josh loves spending time with his wife, Megan, and son, Leo. They can be caught frequenting the local farmer's markets, bike riding, and hiking around Lowes Creek with their dog Lyra. What some people don't know about Josh is that he has caught many sharks while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and his dream car is a 70's Austin Mini Cooper. Thank you, Tom! Tom Jakowicz has been at Markquart for 25 years and has loved every minute of it. He started his career at the Markquart Motors location as a parts associate, and after working there for three years, he moved away from the area. Once he returned to the Chippewa Valley, he was working for a local parts store when he was recruited to join the team at Markquart Toyota, and the rest is history. For Tom, the best part about working at Markquart is the customers and coworkers. He loves helping people, and there’s never a day that he doesn’t feel like coming to work. Over his 25 years, Tom has made a lot of memories; one of his favorites is moving into the new and improved Markquart Toyota building on Commercial Blvd. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Roxann and daughter Rayna. He loves to bow hunt and holds the record for the biggest whitetail buck ever shot with a bow in Chippewa County. An interesting fact is that Tom knows how to play the guitar, and has even played with local rock bands in the past. We are lucky to have someone as kind and knowledgeable as Tom on our team. Todd Nelson is a Wisconsin native and a Chippewa Falls resident for the last 7 years. He is excited to bring his 30 years of sales experience to our team. Todd was drawn to Markquart because of the positive reputation within the community. His favorite part of his job is interacting with people and making friends. Outside of work, Todd loves golfing and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Peg, have 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 dogs to keep them busy. They enjoy spending time outdoors on their pontoon and ATV’s. Hopefully, in the future, they can cruise around in Todd’s dream car, a Shelby Mustang. After 5 years as a Sales Manager at Markquart Toyota, Josh Zuleger is excited to take on the role of General Manager. He has worked in automotive for the last 15 years and learned the ins and outs of the industry, which makes him an excellent fit for General Manager. Josh was initially attracted to Markquart because of the positive reputation in the community, today his favorite part about his job is interacting with the Markquart customers and team. He loves working directly with our team members to help ensure that they enjoy their time here and can be successful. Outside of work, Josh enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Ali have two boys, Jackson and Jameson, and a chocolate lab named Lambeau. An interesting fact about Josh is that he has had 3 holes-in-ones, but he says, “it’s better to be lucky than good.” Josh is always looking for improvements and how to make us the best we can be. Welcome Back to the Toyota Sales Team! Tyler Henderson was initially drawn to Markquart because of the great reputation and rapport we have in the Chippewa Valley. After leaving Markquart in 2018, Tyler is excited to be back as part of this incredible team. Originally from Sheboygan, Tyler came to the area for college and graduated from UWEC with a degree in communications. In his free time, you can catch Tyler playing trombone at bars and festivals around the area. He also enjoys taking walks and spending time with his wife Sarah, and Pomeranian, Harvey. Product Specialist, Jay Bouley started with Markquart 30 years ago after spending 18 years in the radio industry, as both on-air DJ and eventually Program Director.  Admittedly Jay did not know what Markquart was until he was dared to apply. As a part of the application process, he took a personality test and unexpectedly scored one of the highest scores, which earned an interview. He was welcomed to the team on October 23, 1989. When he started at the dealership, Jay was under the ownership of Lee Markquart and has since enjoyed the smooth transition into the leadership of Lee’s son, John, and grandson, Charlee. Jay has come to learn a great deal about business ethics and integrity, which can be challenging to find in the automotive industry. Jay’s favorite Markquart memory is from 1993. He had won first place in a regional Toyota product knowledge contest, which earned him and his wife a trip to Maui for the national competition. Jay placed second nationally and won $5000 cash. His product knowledge and appreciation for Toyota’s has only increased over the years. Currently, he and his wife drive a RAV4 and Avalon. Outside of work, Jay has a passion for music and identifies as a Musicologist; he specializes in music between the ’50s and the ’80s and owns upwards of 3000 CDs, along with over 25,000 vinyl records. In addition to music, his family loves traveling. Each year they spend a week in either Florida or Arizona during the winter months.  Although Jay doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon, he would love to extend his winter vacations. EMAIL JAY

Welcome to the Team! Originally from Nevada, Brianna moved to the Chippewa Valley 2 years ago with her husband. Having gone to school to be a mechanic, Brianna is excited to bring her well-rounded knowledge to the team at Markquart Toyota. She was attracted to the Internal Service Manager position because of the amount of strategy and versatility the job requires. In Brianna’s free time, you will find her doing anything outdoors. Some of her favorite pastimes are hunting, fishing, and camping. Aside from being outdoors, you can catch Brianna fixing-up her dream car, a 1979 Ford pickup. This is Katie’s first time working with cars, and she is excited about the opportunity to learn and help others find their perfect vehicle. Katie graduated with a degree in musical theater, and when she isn’t working or coaching show choir, she is an active member with the Eau Claire Children’s Theater. Outside of music and arts, you can catch her floating down the river. Her dream car is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, although she does love her current RAV4.
