When you’re in need of an oil change, bring your vehicle to Markquart Toyota’s Auto Service and Repair Department, located near Eau Claire, WI. Not only will you receive a professional oil change and tire rotation, but you’ll also get a multipoint inspection done on your vehicle. We begin the multipoint inspection by visually checking the engine compartment, air and cabin air filters, and wiper blades. We also check your floor mats and external vehicle lights for safety reasons. We then lift the car up to drain the oil and inspect the underside of the vehicle for leaks and damage. The suspension and steering components play a major role in keeping you safe so they, along with the brake system, fuel lines and exhaust system, are examined. When the oil is finished draining, we install a new oil filter and lower the car halfway to begin the tire rotation. With the tires off, we inspect the brake linings, calipers and rotors, and reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors. Once finished, we lower the vehicle completely, fill up the oil and other fluids, and check the transmission. Throughout the oil change, tire rotation and multipoint inspection, we record our findings on a Toyota Quality Vehicle Inspection report. We use a color-coded system of green, yellow and red to indicate the status of parts on your vehicle: green means that it is okay while red means that things are not so great. Your Service Advisor will review the technician’s findings with you when they are done with your vehicle.
