Meet Service Advisor, Nate Rich
Nate Rich is a native of the Chippewa Valley with a long history within the automotive industry. His career began while serving in the Marine Corps and after that, he transitioned into a role at a dealership. He came to Markquart after 10 years assisting people with all of their vehicle needs. He says that his interest in our service advisor position was sparked because Markquart has been a pillar in the community for over 50 years and our values align with his.
His favorite part about his job at Markquart is really getting to help the customers that he works with every day and assisting in solving their problems. When he isn’t at work you can find Nate hunting, fishing or spending time in the great outdoors. His dream car is any old American muscle car.

Multi-Terrain Select allows you to choose between four modes: Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow and Normal. The choice that you make maximizes your traction per the terrain you are driving through. When activated the system is designed to sense the vehicle slipping. Next, it will regulate the wheelspin by automatically adjusting the throttle, brakes and drive-force distribution of the engine.
While taking advantage of the Multi-Terrain Select you can use the Multi-Information Display and view torque allocation and slip control, which will fluctuate depending on driving and road conditions. In addition to this new feature, the RAV4 also has Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0). This suite of safety features has everything that the former TSS-P offered with the additions of Road Sign Assist and Lane Trace Assist. You will also be able to seamlessly stay connected with Entune 3.0 and Apple CarPlay.

Markquart Toyota Technician, Kevin Barka, receives regional recognition
We are excited to share that Kevin Barka, Markquart Toyota Master level technician, has received regional recognition for devoting time and effort into his work. The program that selects and recognizes the efforts that these technicians put in is called the Toyota Quality Champion (QC) program. Each technician recognized by this program receives a recognition certificate, an embroidered jacket and are invited to attend an event later in the year.
In addition to the Regional Quality Champions, each region is allowed to select an Overall Quality to represent them at the National Toyota Quality Champion Conference. It is with great pleasure that we also announce that Kevin Barka has been selected to represent the Chicago Region at this year’s National Conference. This year the event will be held at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky from April 30th-May 2nd.
Help us in congratulating Kevin on all of his hard work and achievements. We are exceptionally proud to have him as part of our team.
Experience the Toyota Racing Development versions of Toyota’s fan favorite sedans
In the fall of 2019, we will be introduced to the first-ever Toyota Camry TRD and Toyota Avalon TRD. These sedans have been put to the test in order to earn the TRD badge. Now track-tuned the cars will feature an aggressive black dual exhaust, exclusive matte black 19” alloy wheels and a new unique interior. This new interior includes red accents on the stitching and seatbelts with a crisp TRD embroidery on the headrests.
Camry & Avalon TRD enhancements:

It is no secret that the all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 has come to turn heads. The 5th generation crossover has been fully redesigned. A bolder exterior and more driver-focused interior have customers elated, but that’s not all. Toyota also improved the fuel-efficiency of their fan favorite compact SUV. Now with an EPA estimated 35 MPG highway, this vehicle will be saving you money with every visit to the pump.
The RAV4 also comes with 3 distinct drive modes that allow you to modify the vehicles driving dynamics based on your driving style. There is a Sport Mode option that has a sharper acceleration and an ECO Mode that helps maximize your fuel-efficiency. Finally, there is a Normal Mode which helps you blend fuel economy with ample performance. Also new in the 2019 is available Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive. This helps improve your vehicles responsiveness by sending up to 50 percent of the power to the rear and then distributing more power to whichever wheel needs it. When the power to the rear is no longer necessary Rear Driveline Disconnect will stop sending power to boost efficiency.

Efficiency with a greater-than-ever Corolla design
The all-new 2020 Toyota Corolla is turning heads and changing the way you look at the sedan, which Toyota has sold more than 46 million globally since its introduction in 1966. The 12th-generation Corolla is coming to you in two parts. The first part arrived at Markquart Toyota summer of 2018 in the 2019 Corolla Hatchback and soon we will be meeting the sedan version. This redesign offers a lot more than just a new body structure. With a driver-centric interior, luxurious materials and excellent engineering there is nothing left to want or need. Another exciting addition to the Corolla family is the first-ever Corolla Hybrid.
Starting from the top. There is a variety of different bold front fascias depending on trim level with XSE coming in with the sportiest design. The available Adaptive Front-Lighting System provides a wider field of light and steers the beam in the direction of the turn based on the angle of the steering wheel. In the rear, there is distinct lighting with a combination of lamps that wrap deep into the fenders. On the inside, there are high-gloss materials paired with matte elements that emphasize the premium look. The instrument panel is highlighted with an available 8-inch touch screen and comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa and Entune 3.0 Audio Suite.
Coming standard in the 2020 Corolla is Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This has everything that we already know and love about Toyota Safety Sense plus even more. In addition, we have Lane Tracing Assist which is designed for use on relatively straight highways to help avoid unwanted lane departure before it happens. Also added was Road Sign Assist to help recognize road signs and display them on the Multi-Informational Display.
