The iconic Toyota Prius has been redesigned for the 2016 model year and it was unveiled in Las Vegas on September 8, 2015. This isn’t your average hybrid car, but it is a peek of what’s to come for the hybrid sector – an environmental vehicle without compromise. You can have a stylish, comfortable vehicle, and feel good about it, and Prius proves that.

The exterior has been completely revamped with sporty, fluid lines starting at both the front and the rear running down the sides. The headlights and taillights look as though they’ve been carved precisely to give Prius a more modern, sporty look.

On the interior you’ll find the same theme. Everything was designed for function while keeping aesthetics in mind. The dash is sporty, yet elegant, and interior space has been increased overall for both passengers and cargo.

Even with all of these upgrades, Prius is expected to have a 10% improvement in EPA-estimated MPG on core models. This is thanks to a lower center of gravity and Toyota designers and engineers being experts in aerodynamics.

The 2016 Toyota Prius will arrive at Markquart Toyota near Eau Claire early next year. You can view more photos and stay up-to-date with 2016 Prius news here.
